West Spreydon School Pool Story

Like may school pools in New Zealand, West Spreydon School Pool in Christchurch has become neglected and it's closure was likely. Instead in 2009 and 2010 the community came together to help restore and improve the pool. The summer of 2010/2011 saw the pool used heavily by the community and the project was a great success. Then on the 22nd February 2011 the city was devastated by a 6.3 earthquake and the pool was severely damaged. This video marks the start of an effort to once again bring the community t
